Laurel Bourgeois
MSSA, LISW-S, LCSW
After six years working in admissions for psychiatric and detox services, I developed a deep passion for supporting people across a wide spectrum of experiences—from everyday struggles with depression and anxiety to profound challenges like trauma and grief. I especially love working with mothers in all their forms: single moms, partnered moms, working moms, those trying to conceive, those grieving loss, and yes—those who just need a moment (and a hot cup of coffee) to breathe. (Honestly, who doesn’t?)
I’m particularly drawn to helping clients navigate traumatic experiences, process grief, and heal from related challenges. With a broad range of experience, I’m genuinely open to and excited about working with all populations—no one is “too much” or “not enough” here.
I’ve witnessed clients at their most vulnerable moments—entering inpatient or intensive outpatient care—and celebrated alongside them as they reached their strongest, most empowered selves after completing therapy. My goal is simple: to walk with you through every step of your journey, offering a listening ear when you need to be heard, gentle challenges when growth calls for it, and steady encouragement along the way.
If you’re looking for a therapist who shows up authentically, supports you consistently, and helps you feel truly seen, I’d love to be that person for you. Grab your favorite mug of coffee (or tea!), reach out, and let’s talk about whether we’re a good fit. I’m looking forward to joining you on this path soon!
